Photo Walk with @astridkbh
We were on a quick photo walk with @astridkbh, who takes some brilliant pictures of landscapes, architecture, Copenhagen and street photography all around the world.
First, Astrid presented a few tips on how to frame and edit your shots when you’re out and about, before we went outside to take some photos ourselves. Many of the other participants had braught their cameras as well, but you really don’t need more than a cell phone.
The event was hosted by 1000 Drawings Copenhagen who are collecting both art and money for a good cause. They’re trying to fund schools in former war zones in the middle east to provide perspective and education to the youth in Syria, Turkey and Libanon. You can sign up for the exhibition of all the donated art here and you’ll be able to purchase some absolutely incredible drawings, paintings and photographies for 60 DKK! Maybe they’ll have chosen some of the pictures we sent them ;)
After Astrid had told a it about her strategy we went along Islands Brygge and on top of a hotel roof (Thank you STAY!) which was an awesome location for both getting the ferries, people walking by and the other participants.
It was really great hanging out with other photographers, seeing some familiar faces and taking pictures together, checking out each others gear choices and preferences and having a great time.
We shot a short video to portrait what went on, 10/10 would do again!
PS: Remember to check out Astrids website and sign up for the exhibition!.
