Horse Photography - Meet up at Boserup Skov
Last Saturday I attended a meet up for photographers, horses and riders arranged by Freya Photography. I’d never participated in a meet up like that before, so I was pretty curious - also because multiple horses (some of them stallions) would be together.
The location was a forest in Boserup, which was a short train ride for me. It proved itself to be a very cool location with lots of forest areas, a lake and even a beach. I will certainly keep it in mind as location for future shoots!
The timing for the date of the shoot was just perfect, because just one week before, the cold temperatures finally stopped and it got pretty warm in Denmark. As a result, the forest floor was covered in white anemone.
The group was completely mixed. There were experienced and less experienced photographers, experienced and less experienced (in terms of modelling) riders, and visually very varying horses - which all behaved very well!
I came home with so many good photos, it was really difficult to pick the best ones. And still now I go like “This is my favorite one! … Oh, no, maybe this one! … No, this is definitely my favorite!”.
