Madeira in black and white

Our travel locations often lend themselves to colour, the dark green forests, the cyan sea, a bright red camping van on dark brown vulcano ash, but some of our favourite shots come out black and white every time.
It’s the ability to distort time a little and to not quite remember the time of day or day of the week. It’s a structure or silhoutte that was there and appears a little more in a way that it always will be. Draining the vibrant colours takes the fragility with it and leaves a static beautiful image.
