We’ve been living in Sydhavn for about 10 years now and we still like it. It’s easy to take the camera out on lots of days of the year and come home with shots you like. Fog always has a special place in our photography heart for the gloom and mystery it adds to the urban environment.

Gas stations are always great sceneries at night. They’re always open for business. If they’re not self-service, the staff will be indifferent to you, like in an airport, they don’t know who you are, why you’re travelling or where. You’re just another customer purchasing something because it’s petrol which only they have or food, drinks or cigarettes, because they’re the only one open at the time.

People in the nordics of course aren’t deterred by bad weather or darkness from working out, after all the days are short for a big portion of the year.
