Most of Europe was just let go of a snowy blizzard, while the Us currently is being held in an icy grasp. And then there is Denmark. We bare had any snow at all, maybe about two days - however, that is not that different from recent winters.
Excitingly, though, we had a short period of time where temperatures dropped enough for water to freeze all over the country. Lakes turned into ice rinks, and slush ice phenomena at beaches invited the common Dane to go and try out this winter swimming thing.

We managed to get out and catch some afternoon sunlight on the ice before it thawed:

This was a first temperature check for our new mirrorless cameras (Canon R, Canon R5) which they handled amazingly.
Shooting in the winter always is a special experience. Even if you wear good and enough clothing, your movement will be much more reduced than during warmer temperatures, on top of having to handle gloves and possible fogged glasses.
Luckily, we’re used to using physical buttons and don’t rely on the touchscreen, so at least we didn’t struggle a lot in that regard.

This anchor chain left an interesting ripple in the ice because of the ship’s movement while the water was in the process of freezing.

The birds mainly seemed to not care. We have never seen those tiny birds before, though. O_o
